THE NEW TESTAMENT CHANUKKAH   Victory in YaHVaH the Creator.

EgkainiYah Greek #1456 REDEDICATION
John 10:22 Yochanon ~ Then came Hanukkah (c). it was Winter in Jerusalem.
Messiah was walking in the Temple around Solomon's colonnade.
TLV adds a footnote c. REdedication.
Web Note: As the priests cleansed the Temple, we ask YaHOSHA Messiah to cleanse and rededicate our physical-spiritual Temple's unto Him.

"Although historians debate the causes and outcomes of the war in which Judah Maccabee and his followers defeated the Syrian armies of Antiochus, there is no doubt that Hanukkah evokes stirring images of Jewish valor against overwhelming odds. Other themes of the feast include the refusal to submit to the religious demands of an empire practicing idolatry, the struggle against total assimilation into Greek culture and loss of (Jewish or Spiritual) identity, and the fight for Jewish political autonomy and self-determination."

In 2021, the Jewish method Aviv calendar is one month earlier than the Scriptural Calendar of Genesis 1:14 (See our study).

Dates UTILIZE the Genesis Calendar. Genesis/Ber 1:14 (moeds, appointments)
Hanukkah is a Feast kept by Messiah, The Feast of Lights. It is an optional Feast; we feel it is part of the New Testament economy. The World’s Churches change dates for various reasons, but  this one is not Commanded in the Torah. Keep reading.

Hannakah or Chanukkah and the  message is JeremiYah 33:1-26 all.  Here is the message to YAHUDA and Yisrael, of repentance, redemption, triumph and deliverance from the enemy haSatan; we are released from bondage and captivity all by the mighty power of YaHVaH and His only begotten Son, the Messiah of Yisrael.

Psalm/Tehillim
Psalm 97:1 YaHVaH reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
Psa 97:2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
Psa 97:3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
Psa 97:4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
Psa 97:5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of YaHVaH, at the presence of YaHVaH of the whole earth.
Psa 97:6 The heavens declare his righteousness...

97:10    Ye that love YaHVaH, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
11    Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12    Rejoice in YAHVAH, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his pureness/(Hebrew) qodosh.
98:1 O sing unto YaHVaH a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his pure arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Victory
2 Samuel 23:10
He (David) arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and YaHVaH wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.
Mark 11:23 (Riddance of devils and spiritual barriers): Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.  And Messiah answering saith unto them, Have faith in YaH. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
YeshaYah or Isaiyah 25:8
8 He will swallow up death in victory; and YaHVaH, YAH will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for YAHVAH hath spoken it.
YeshaYahu/IsaiYah 26:1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will YaH appoint for walls and bulwarks. 2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in. (continue reading)

TRIUMPH
Psalm 18:4-6 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungoodly men made me afraid.
5    The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
6    In my distress I called upon YaHVaH, and cried unto my YaHH: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
Psalm 18:12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire. [Then:]
26   With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt show thyself froward.
27    For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
28    For thou wilt light my candle: YAHVAH my YaH will enlighten my darkness.
29    For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my YaHH have I leaped over a wall.
30    As for YaHH, his way is perfect: the word of YaHVaH is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
31    For who is YaHH save YAHVAH? or who is a rock save our YaHH?
32    It is YaHH that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
33    He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
34    He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
35    Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
36    Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
37    I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
38    I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
39    For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40    Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
41    They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto YaHVaH, but he answered them not.
42    Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
43    Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
44    As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
45    The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
46    YaHVaH liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the YaH of my salvation be exalted.
47    It is YaHH that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
48    He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
49    Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O YAHVAH, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
50    Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and showeth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

Deliverance
1 Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of YaH; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
1Co 15:57 But thanks be to Elohim, which giveth us the victory through Master YaHOSHA Messiah.
Song #386 in Songbook “Messiah Arose” The Strife is O’er, the Battle Done. The VICTORY of life is won. The song of Triumph has begun. Hallel YaHVaH!

IsaiYah 57 "The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each..."
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our Elohim, and the power of his Messiah: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our Elohim day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. ..of her seed, which keep the commandments of Elohim, and have the testimony of Messiah.

Revelation 14 (read) (esp. 14:12) Here is the patience of the saints:  here are they that keep the commandments of YaHVaH AND the Faith of Messiah.
Revelation 22 (beginning with:) And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of YaH and of the Lamb.
The perpetual oil possible miracle of Chanukkah is not in Scripture.  The REAL victory is that YaHVaH gave the great victory to the Maccabees (Maccabeus) over Antiochus Epiphanies by His stretched-out Arm in 165 B.C.  That YaHVaH through Messiah gives ALL who wait on Him, Victory over ALL sin.

We cannot bow to IDOLS.
When we praise YaHVaH at Hanukkuh, we read the WORD, hear the Word, obey His loving Word by the Spirit, and sing unto YaHVaH.  We do not sit-around lighting candles and overeating cancerous desserts all day or week long.  Some have strong customs and traditions to keep holidays and do things different than our fathers of old.

1 Corinthians 10:14-27
"Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of YaHosha? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of YaHosha? 17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. 18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? 19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to YaH: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. 21 Ye cannot drink the cup of YaHVaH, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of YaHVaH’s table, and of the table of devils. 22 Do we provoke YaHVaH to jealousy? are we stronger than he?" Flee idolatry. Don’t take Yah’s standards side by side with Satan.
JUDE 1:3-12
(esp. 23) "..And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh."
What does it look-like to be one of YaHVaH’s sheep?  Do you leave the study or Hebrew class, jump into your car, hit the button to hear AC-DC “Highway to Hell”?  Just change the title, use the same song to copy the world?  Or play some wonderful (?) high-intensity Messy-antic rock and roll in your synagogue or home?  Find liberty in the law of YaHVaH, not unto license and eternal bondage.
Romans 12:1-2 Be transformed, not CON-formed.  Do not bow to idols.
Cannot drink of the cup of YaH and the cup of devils, Jude 23
LOOK like a sheep, a saved bride presented to the Father by Messiah.

I should emphasize that at Chanukkah, the victory was not the burning candle-light. The true victory is as follows: article taken from Love For Israel.

In 175 BCE, Antiochus IV Epiphanies gained control of Judea,
He outlawed the Hebrew religion, and 167 BCE he went so far as to desecrate the qadosh/pure Temple by having an altar to Zeus placed there and ordering pigs to be sacrificed which is an abomination to YHVH.  They began to openly persecute the Jews/Hebrews and prohibited the study of the Torah and tried to force them to assimilate.
These outrages incited rebellion by the Maccabees which was led by Mattityahu and
his five sons, one of whom, Judah Maccabee, who took over the rebellion after his
father died.  This family was called the Maccabees.

Just ten years later in 165 BCE, by the power of YaHVaH, they managed to defeat their oppressors and to rededicate the Pure Temple to YaHVaH.   Even though they were small in number they won a great victory over the enemy and were able to reclaim the temple.  It was during the celebration of Lights/Hanukkah that Yeshua/YaHOSHA announced " I am the light of the world".  He is the light that comes out of the darkness!  Thanks to YaHVaH and His Ruach ha Kadosh.

Many are going through difficult times in which it looks like the enemy has gained victory and now is the time to be strong and reclaim what the enemy has stolen in your life and re-dedicate your temple to Him and give Him the altar of your heart
The message of Messiah and The Scripture is “Repent” .
Matthew 3 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,  And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 3For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet IsaYAH/YeshaYah, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of YaHVaH, make his paths straight. :6 ..And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. 8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance.
10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Pure Spirit, and with fire: 12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

John (Yochonan) 3:13 ..And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Rev 17:14 ..for He is Master of masters, and King of kings; and they that are with Him are CALLED, CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL.   HE is the LIGHT of the world.  YaHOSHA is the Creator of heaven and earth, and everything in it.
May you continue to discover the relationship with Messiah Yahosha to live by the spirit, overcoming sinful nature.

LAMPS BURNING:
Lev 24:1 Then YaHVaH spoke to Moses saying:
Lev 24:2 “Order Bnei-Yisrael to bring to you pure olive oil, beaten for the light, to keep a lamp burning continually.
Lev 24:3 Outside of the curtain of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron is to keep it in order from evening to morning before YaHVaH continually. It is to be a statute forever throughout your generations.
Lev 24:4 He is to keep the lamps in order on the pure gold menorah before YaHVaH continually.
Although the story of the Hanikkah candle cannot be confirmed, there is the principle that Messiah is the Light represented by the lamp in Leviticus 24.
John_5:35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.
8:12 Then spake YaHosha Messiah again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

   THE FOLLOWING ARE ADD-ONS:

We cannot say we are keeping the law, the Torah, but turn around, on the other hand, and buy something not critical to life on the Sabbath (precluding an EXTREME emergency.)
If you are starving on the Sabbath, and there is no way to find food, YAHVAH said "I would have mercy" in certain extreme situations.  We might be compelled to work, if it means we and our families have need to live.

Am I being a faithful Bride of Messiah?

My subject now is marriage.  I am going to open with you to Luke 11:42 in KJV and the old Living Letters version.
Then we are opening to Matthew 5:22-24 ANGER in Marriage.

Ephesians 5
1 Be ye therefore followers of Elohim, as dear children;
2 And walk in love, as Yahosha also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to Elohim for a sweet smelling savour.
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Yahosha and of Elohim. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of Elohim upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in YaHVaH: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto YaHVaH. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Yahosha shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of YaHVaH is. 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to YaHVaH; 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto Elohim and the Father in the name of our YaHVaH Yahosha ;

21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of Elohim. 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto YaHVaH. 23  For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Yahosha is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24Therefore as the church is subject unto Yahosha, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25Husbands, love your wives, even as Yahosha also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be separated and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as YaHVaH the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31  For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Yahosha and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
               Being Offended
Matthew 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Matthew 13:18-21 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the Word of the kingdom, and understands it not, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receives it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but endures for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
and from Mark 4:17... And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.
Luke 7:21-23 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. 22 Then Yahosha answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. 23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Don't be offended by anyone; don't be angry (Matthew 22) (except f "be ye angry, but sin not (in your anger)"
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Colossians 3:18-21 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in YaHVaH. 19Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. 20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto YaHVaH. 21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there remember that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
BEING ANGRY:
EPHESIANS 4:26-31 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil. 28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needs. 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the Ruach Spirit of Elohim, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as Elohim for Yahosha’s sake hath forgiven you." Generally speaking, we ought to be FRIENDLY.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is YaHVaH Elohim, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

TORAH PORTION NUMBERS 10; 28  IS THE NEW MOON MONTHLY?

IBRIM/Hebrews 10:26-39  Check it out for yourself.

IBRIM/Hebrews 5:14 Strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to DISCERN both good and evil.

IBRIM/Hebrews 6:1-6 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Messiah, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward YaHVaH,
Heb 6:2Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Heb 6:3 And this will we do, if YaHVaH permit.
Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Pure Spirit,
Heb 6:5 And have tasted the good word of YaHVaH, and the powers of the world to come,
Heb 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they impale to themselves the Son of YaHVaH afresh, and put him to an open shame.
This is from KJV with my corrections.  It seems the saying that "Once saved, always saved" is false, after having read that Scripture.
TORAH PORTION Numbers 10
WHY SHOULD A BELIEVER KEEP THE NEW MOONS EACH MONTH?
Numbers 10:10 [Num 10:10 KJV]  Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your Elohim: I [am] the YaHVaH your Elohim.

[Num 28:11, 14 KJV]  And in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt offering unto YaHVaH; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot; ... 14 And their drink offerings shall be half an hin of wine unto a bullock, and the third [part] of an hin unto a ram, and a fourth [part] of an hin unto a lamb: this [is] the burnt offering of EVERY MONTH throughout the months of the year.

Meanwhile, a large percentage of believers have begun to doubt writings in the "New Testament" due to a misunderstanding of Shaul (Paul) writings.  But look at Jews for Yeshua Paraphrase of Romans.  That will dispel doubt about Paul and the law-Torah.  For example, let us read Romans 5:20-21 ..Also, the law of sacrifices was added because the violations of Torah had greatly increased. But where Torah violation abounded, YaHVaH's favor abounded much more, :21 So that even as Torah violation prevailed unto our death, even so Yahuweh's favor would prevail through righteousness unto eternal life through the Messiah YaHOSHA our Master, and ultimate Offering for sin.

MARRIAGE and DIVORCE
In our articles, I did not include the idea that each case is often different from another.  Let the true minister of Messiah judge righteous judgment, considering the Scripture and the conditions of the parties involved, on a case by case basis.  While we give complete acknowledgement of Deuteronomy 22, Tokens of our virginity ("I found her not a maiden.") We need to consider all the conditions in the marriage, before, during and after.  Were both parties genuine in their pledge to marry, according to Scripture, or was there deception, defraud, deceit found in their hearts?  Often we should let only YaHVaH be the judge whether they were truthful in having made a sincere vow to Covenant or not with their spouse.  We cannot know what happened during a proposal of marriage.  It is not easy to walk in another's sandals. Let my word not be taken as the last word, nor let it be Final Advice.  Seek truth by the Word.

IS IT TIME FOR MORE RELIGIOUS BRAIN FOOD?
It is time, in my research to move-on beyond our traditional denominational barriers, and to feed and grow upon "Line upon Line, here a little, there a little"  IsaiYah 28. Not by bread alone, but living and walking by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the Mouth of YaHVaH.  Stagnating in the milk or in Genesis, not growing beyond Exodus 20 in our Torah portion studies might prevent us from a full Spirit-filled life, being Born- Again not of mental gymnastics, intense studies of language to impress each other, but of Messiah.  He truly gives us all sufficient blessings.
1 Peter 1:23 inspires us:"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of YaH, which liveth and abideth for ever."

Revelation 3:17 "Because you say, 'I am rich, and increased with goods (knowledge?) and have need of nothing; and know not that thou art wretched and miserable, and poor, and blind and naked?"  See John 9:41; Luke 6:24

What can one say of YaHVaH, the spokesman?  Let Yachanon answer Jn 5:37 "And the Father Himself, which hath sent Me (Messiah) hath borne witness of Me.
You have NEITHER heard His voice at any time, nor seen His shape."  Also in the Torah portion of Exodus 24:10; 33:20; 1 John 4:12; John 1:18; 6:47; Job 42:5, IsaiYah 53 we see the Messiah, not Israel, but Who represents Israeyl.
Let us be fed and watered by the Word, the Living Manna from heaven, the River of LIfe.  We ought to reach out to YaHOSHA, Messiah and magnify the Father YaHVaH.
For this Passover, will the TORAH PORTIONS cover the applicable material in Exodus, 1 Cor 5 and so on, or will these be ASSIGNED by a few teachers to be in our common month of January?  Why not at the beginning of the Months, YaHVaH's true New Year (corresponding to Mar-Apr)?  Have a joyful New Year (before Passover).

WHAT WILL WE NOT FIND IN NEW JERUSALEM?
We will not find Torah-breakers, workers of iniquity. Sin is the trangression of the Torah.  Romans 6:21-23 (Jews for Yeshua paraphrase.) 6:21 But what fruit then did you have in those things in which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 6:22 But now having been released from the fallen nature, and having become slaves to YaHVaH, you are now bearing fruit that is set-apart to YaHVaH, with the end result, everlasting life. 6:23 For the wages of Torah violation is death, but the sacrifice offered at no cost to us by YaHVaH, is eternal life in the Messiah YaHOSHA our Master, and ultimate sin-sacrifice.
[And, it will be more than those who only keep the Sabbath and Feast Days, but those who are ready to be emptied of the world culture and self, and be filled with the culture of the Scriptures. We will receive the wholeness of YaHVaH.]
Revelation 22:3-5 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of YaHH and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name [shall be] in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the YaHVaH, YaH giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
IsaiYah 35:5-10 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6 Then shall the lame [man] leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. 7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons where each lay, [shall be] grass with reeds and rushes. 8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it [shall be] for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err [therein]. 9 No lion shall be there, nor [any] ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk [there]: 10 And the ransomed of the YaHVaH shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
[I should like to imagine that  the new earth is brought down from heaven, the lakes and levees which man has fished-out with technology, will be filled with fresh multiple fish.  Even I, not a skillful fisherman, will be able to enjoy a good catch.  The forest will be replenished with much game and exciting animals.  My recent visit to a game park was rewarded with visiting animals who interact with humans, and do silly antics.  The tiger, Shere-Kahn  taught humans to fear no man or beast.]

EXODUS 32:33 "I will blot out"; Revelation 3:5; 22:19 "..his name from Book of Life."
Repentance for all the choir, not intellectualism; not more brain food for Hebraics.

Esteeming Messiah and all Scripture

Music:  What's wrong with the old hymnal?
Repetition?  7-11 songs "Sing SEVEN verses ELEVEN times".
The preacher in the pulpit is supposed to "pull us out of the pit".

Do true believers choose a church because it fits-in with their cultural background, which includes the Torah and Testimony?  Are we a disciplined sort of people, who are looking for an overly-strict set of standards?  Or did Messiah choose us, elect, call us to love honor serve and obey through all of eternal life?
Did we find this Hebraic or conservative way of life because we were looking for an oldies or Fifties type of culture?  Or did Messiah YaHoVaH give Torah, these wonderful Commandments, Statutes and Judgments to all of Yisrael from beginning to never-ending?  Is the Torah forever?  Does forever mean forever?
Is it possible to be "spiritual" but not "religious"?

Study No. 42
The most stupendous public miracle in the sight of heathens had just occurred. Pharaoh’s horsemen in chariots had been drowned in the sea, while Israel had previously passed through the Red Sea on dry ground in safety, Exodus 14. Israel was free once and for all from Egyptian bondage. Did Moses and Israel offer a sacrifice, or a prayer? Moses led the children of Israel in a great song of praise to the Eternal. Miriam led the women in a beautiful joyous chorus, Exodus 15:1-21.
Notice this part of Moses’ song, verse 2: "YHVH is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation: He is my Elohim, and I will prepare Him an habitation; my father’s Elohim, and I will exalt Him."
YHVH, is our strength, our song, our salvation, Psalm 118:14-15. He is the source of our strength, our salvation, our praises in song to Him. In our songs of praise we are acting out (experiencing) His strength, His salvation.
Truly, the Eternal "is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation," Isaiah 12:2. I will sing unto my Strength, "Elohim of my mercy," Psalm 59:17. "YHVH is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? YHVH is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" Psalm 27:1. Because He is my strength and shield, I greatly rejoice, "and with my song will I praise Him" Psalm 28:7. I will "offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto YHVH," Psalm 27:6. Because "YHVH is my rock, and my fortress and my deliverer" Psalm 18:1-3, "I will joy in the Elohim of my salvation," Habakkuk 3:18.

Sorrow or Song?
Today we live in a somber world without much real joy. Nuclear holocaust, famine, disease, crime, natural disasters, and all the evils of mankind make it hard to truly be joyful. Our western world lacks joy and enthusiasm.
It is the purpose of this article to show you that the Scripture is full of admonitions for us to sing to the Eternal. He will become our strength and salvation. Let us learn the Bible lesson of song, not being like Israel, who sang his praise, and soon forgot his works, Psalm 106:12-13.
