ENDURE MUCH TRIBULATION

In Revelation 3:7-11 YHVH is telling the assembly in Philadelphia in verse 10 that in the future there would be a time when “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”

If we have to go through this tribulation, I think it would be good for us to think about the people who are good examples for us in the Bible to follow, if we can. Think about it and see if you might agree. (Job 13:13-18)

Job lost family and friends and every material possession he owned in a very short time when he was going through trials and temptations in the Bible time of his life. His friends criticized him and judged him harshly. His response in chapter 13:13 “ Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.
14 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand?
15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
17 Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.
18 Behold now, I have ordered my cause: I know that I shall be justified.

Job believes that he has always done the correct things, and now he doesn’t understand why he has to go through these trials.
In chapter 19: 1-29 he declares his case. He has sought YHVH, but he has not been heard. In verse 21 he says, “Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.” In verses 25-27 he says things that shows that he still has faith that somehow YHVH will set things right, even if only after his death.
In chapter 23:10 he says “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” This shows that he knew his salvation comes from Faith in YAHVAH Himself and not in his own righteousness.

In the New Testament the book of James explains that in 2:14-24.
In Job chapters 38; 39; 40; and 41 YHVH answers Job. In chapter 42:1-6 Job confesses that he uttered that which he didn’t understand and then he repented. YHVH then tells Job’s friends that they didn’t tell the Truth, but Job did, so YHVH requires that they offer a burnt offering to Him and ask Job to pray for them. He said that He would not accept their prayers, but He would accept the prayers of Job for them. YHVH restored what Job had lost, and blessed him with more (chapter 42:10-17).

2 When Daniel gave Nebuchadnezzar the interpretation of his dream (Daniel 2:1-4) the king made him a great man in his kingdom, and promoted him to the highest office in Babylon (2:46-49). Then Daniel asked for Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego (these are not the Jewish names) to be promoted also. So the king put them over the affairs of the province of Babylon..
The story of what happened to the 3 Hebrews is in chapter 3 and the answer they gave Nebuchadnezzar for not worshipping his god and the image of himself is in verses 16-18.
The deliverance by YHVH and the result is in the rest of that chapter.

The story of Daniel continues in Daniel chapters 4; 5; & 6. In chapter 6:1-15 the presidents and princes talked King Darius into making a decree. Daniel was caught worshipping YHVH as he usually did. However, the law had been created that forbade asking “a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O King, he shall be cast into the den of lions.” Since Darius had heard something already about Daniel, when the group came and told him that Daniel had disobeyed the decree he was very upset that he had been tricked. He had to obey his decree, but he told Daniel in verses 16 & 17 “Thy God whom thy servest continually, he will deliver thee.”
The King could not sleep that night, so in verse 18 he could not have entertainment and he fasted. When he found out Daniel was o.k. he was “exceeding glad for him (verse 23). Then in verse 24 he had all the accusers of Daniel and all of their families thrown into the lions den. In verses 25-28, Darius wrote a decree that Praised the living God of Daniel who had saved him.

In Acts 6:1-8 Stephen/TsephanYah was chosen to do administrative duties for the church. {A deacon.} It consisted of helping widows, picking helpers for what needed to be done at meetings for the Feast Days of the Scriptures of the Torah. :5 “They chose Stephen (TsephanYah) a man full of faith and of the Ruach ha Kadosh.’ But YHVH had chosen him for something more important. In verses 9-15 he was accused falsely by witnesses before the council in Jerusalem. For his defense he started with all their history up to this time. Then he used the same words the prophets had done when calling for repentance of them for being betrayers and murderers (verses 51-53). In verses 54-60 they were convicted in their hearts, and were angry, so they stoned him to death. Stephen saw heaven “open” and The Messiah standing at the right hand of YHVH. He died asking YHVH not to lay this sin to their charge. Then he fell asleep, as The Messiah had done in Luke 23:34.

"In the world you shall have tribulation (over and above normal everyday difficulties, but of your faith) but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" John 16:33
Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the YaHVaH from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. (Doers of the Word)

It would be wonderful if we could all magnify our Creator in such a manner as this. Most of us can’t, but maybe the rest of us can do what we can before death, so that The Messiah can be praised in some way.
