SUKKOT FEASTING First Evening
Leviticus 23:34 Beginning on the fifteenth day of the Seventh month shall be The Feast of Tabernacles for seven days unto YaHVaH. (paraphrase)
Tonight begins that Feast.
YaHOSHA our Messiah was likely borne on this day:
Matthew 2:11; Luke 1 & 2 the new-borne Messiah. Born of a virgin Is.7.
John 1:14 “The WORD became flesh and tabernacle with us.”
Timing of Messiah’s birth: Messiah died and arose at 31 ½ years. Remove the half year to find out His birth. He died in the spring, which puts Messiah’s birth six months from that death, having been birthed in the autumn, at the late-summer Feast.

Join us at Sukkot. I made a mistake saying instead "Unleavened Bread".
It is true we could eat unleavened bread, any Scripturally clean vegetable, meat or drink at Sukkot or Tabernacles. Deuteronomy 14
Colossians 2:14-16 "Let no man judge you..but the body of Messiah".
Deuteronomy 16:13-17 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: 14 And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates. 15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the YAHVAH thy Elohim in the place which the YAHVAH shall choose: because YAHVAH thy Elohim shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the YAHVAH thy Elohim in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks(Shavout/Pentecost), and in Sukkot the Feast of Tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the YAHVAH empty:
17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the YAHVAH thy Elohim which he hath given thee. (A praise offering to Him.)
Exodus 34:24 For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the YAHVAH thy Elohim thrice in the year.
Nu 28; 29:12
Join us for eight days studying, praising, praying, feasting, and preparing to sup with the Savior. He will return soon. This is a rehearsal for the consummation with the Messiah. This is the High Day beginning at sundown night before; Seven days later the High Day called That Last Great Day.
Luke 2:21 YaHOSHA Messiah, commonly called "Jesus" (from Iesous) was circumcised on the Eight day. John 7 and 7:37. That is another major event to remember.
The fact is when we do not go up to Tabernacle, then we lose many blessings.
As we “go-up to the Feast” we pry ourselves from our familiar atmosphere, and have freshness. We think "This is a new adventure, quest, journey, voyage, exploration.”
2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of YaHVaH, and not of us.
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
YaHVaH's Feast days bring us TANGIBLE evidence that He is in it.
Then the blessings begin I begin to confess "This IS an adventure. I DO love it,after all. These people really do appear to love YaHVaH. I have
helped several people in their walk with Messiah. Several have helped me already. I don't want to leave; I don't want to go home."
We have hope. We do not have to wait for the life the Father YaHVaH has prepared for us through His Servant. Receive rewards now at this Feast. We have this TREASURE in earthen vessels.
YaHVaH might say to us, "This is only a taste of the heavenly here, My
Bride, you cannot stay here, and you MUST go back home. What I give
you, take with you." Take it home and live the blessings daily.
The Feasts are better than the old camp meetings we used to attend.
This one is in Truth. And we are directly appointed to obey YaHVaH and
meet with others. Leviticus 23:35 “On the First day shall be a pure CONVOCATION (gathering): you shall do no servile work therein.”
Others here may agree with you on almost everything. Maybe you believe in short hair or long hair; they believe in wearing short-sleeves, long sleeves; this calendar, that calendar. Even our names and words might be different. Other than those important differences, we are bound to have real Scriptural love and fellowship. It won’t be fake unity. Some pronounce "YaHVaH" some say "Yahovah; Either way, I love you."
Married (we are a work in progress)
The proper attitude, you not only "come along side" as a "helper" to your wife, but you GENTLY or (as the need) FIRMLY lead her lovingly to YaHVaHOSHA our heavenly Father.
I have seen such virtuous wives. "Dear, I might be smarter, wiser, quicker, have more back-bone than you, have the superior intelligence. However, YOU ARE IN CHARGE. And even though I THINK you are wrong, I am submitting to you anyway, just like Ephesians says. Consider my way, but MY WAY IS NOT THE HIGHWAY!"
Oh, for more beautiful women like that! Search my friend, search. Help one another to find shalom. Follow peace and qodesh with all men.
PV 17:22 "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."
Please do not get uptight about the depraved culture out in the world. Have grace & mercy. Not just at the Feast, but always give-in a little.
Being Offended
Matthew 11:5 The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. (Do not reject the authority of YaHVaH's WORD.)
Matthew 13:18-21 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the Word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
and from Mark 4:17... And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.
Luke 7:21-23 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. 22 Then YaHOSHA answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. 23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Don't be offended by anyone; don't be angry (Matthew 22) except for "be ye angry, but sin not (in your anger)"
Would you treat a person better than you treat an animal? Some will greet an animal but will not recognize the owner.
Will you not treat your spouse better than most strangers? So even if the person is 'unlovable', I have found it is good to often establish or maintain friendship and ignore their ugliness. Do not let them push your buttons.
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Colossians 3:18-21 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in YaHVaH. 19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. 20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto YaHVaH. 21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there remember that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
BEING ANGRY: (and they say, "Don't get mad, just git even!" (not funny)
EPHESIANS 4:26-31 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil. 28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the Ruach Spirit of Elohim, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as Elohim for YaHOSHA sake hath forgiven you.
Proverbs 19:13A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping. (or opposite genders)
14 House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from YaHVaH.
Proverbs 21:8 The way of man (man, woman in general) is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.
9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman (or man) in a wide house.
19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a
contentious and an angry woman (or person).
Proverbs 25: 20 As he that taketh away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon nitre, so is he that singeth songs to a heavy heart.
21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: 22 For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and YaHVaH shall reward thee. (But do it because you want to help her.)
23 The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.
24 It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman (person) and in a wide house.
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in Elohim (or YaH), believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Master, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Can man approach Father on his own?
6 Messiah saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Yochanon-John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is YaHVaH Elohim, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come and his wife hath made herself ready. 8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of Elohim (or YaH). 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Messiah: worship Elohim (or YaH): for the testimony of Messiah is the spirit of prophecy.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of Elohim (or YaH). 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty Elohim (or YaH). 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND YHVH of all.
PSALM 23: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of YaHVaH for ever.
Psalm 15 A PSALM OF DAVID.
1 YHVH, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy Pure hill?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear YaHVaH: He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
PSALM 27: Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of YaHVaH, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of YaHVaH all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of YaHVaH, and to inquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto YaHVaH.
7 Hear, O YaHVaH, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, YHVH, will I seek.
9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O YAH of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then YaHVaH will take me up.
PSALM 132: Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
10 For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11 YaHVaH hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
13 For YaHVaH hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
YESHAYAHU ISAIYAH 30: 17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.
18 And therefore will YaHVaH wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for YaHVaH is a Elohim (or YaH) of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee. 20 And though YaHVaH give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
YESHAYAHU 26:1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of YaHudah; We have a strong city; salvation will Elohim (or YaH) appoint for walls and bulwarks. 2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. 3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in YaHVaH for ever: for in YaHVaH, (Thy) YAHVAH is everlasting strength: IsaiYah 26.
YESHAYAHU 57:10 Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved. 11And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not? 12 I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.
13 When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my Pure mountain; 14And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people. 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Pure; I dwell in the high and Pure place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. 16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
YESHEYAHU 66: 22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith YaHVaH, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith YaHVaH.
YeremiYahu 17: 9The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10I YaHVaH search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Exodus 15:1
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto YaHVaH, and spake, saying, I will sing unto YaHVaH, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
PSALM 118: YaHVaH is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of YaHVaH doeth valiantly.
16 The right hand of YaHVaH is exalted: the right hand of YaHVaH doeth valiantly.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of YaHVaH.
18 YaHVaH hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise YaHVaH:
20 This gate of YaHVaH, into which the righteous shall enter.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
23 This is YaHVaH’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24 This is the day which YaHVaH hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O YAHVAH: O YAHVAH, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of YaHVaH: we have blessed you out of the house of YaHVaH.
27 Elohim is YaHVaH, which hath showed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
28 Thou art my Elohim (or YaH), and I will praise thee: thou art my Elohim (or YaH), I will exalt thee.
29 O give thanks unto YaHVaH; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
NehemiYah 8: 13 And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the law. 14And they found written in the law which YaHVaH had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month: 15And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.
16So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of Elohim (or YaH), and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim. 17 And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness. 18 Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of Elohim (or YaH). And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.
This First High Day of Tabernacles also represents the birthing of YaHOSHA Messiah, the Savior. Readings Luke 1, 2.
